ScoreGenius ("the App") is a scoreboard app that lets you display and control a live score across multiple devices. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it's used.
Scoreboard data. When you use ScoreGenius, information you enter — team names, scores, colors, and timer settings — is stored in a cloud database (Google Firebase/Firestore) and linked to a randomly generated join code. This data is not linked to your name, email, or any personal account, since ScoreGenius does not require account creation or sign-in.
Usage analytics. ScoreGenius uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how the App is used. This may include device identifiers, general usage patterns, and technical information about your device. This data is collected and processed according to Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
ScoreGenius does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or location, and does not require an account or sign-in.
Scoreboard data is accessible to anyone who has the join code for that scoreboard — this is by design, since it's how the App lets multiple devices share the same live score. Don't share your join code with anyone you don't want to have that access.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
Scoreboard data is automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
ScoreGenius is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
